We’re located in the Helderberg Basin, Winelands area, in the city of Somerset West, Western Cape, at just 40 minutes from Cape Town, so easily accessible to families from all around us. Natural Birth’s goal is to create a cozy and affordable environment where you can welcome your little one just the way you want. Being a firm believer in the power of natural, normal vaginal childbirth and strive to professional, holistic care to every family we have the privilege of serving. MEET THE MIDWIFE

Hi, my name is Jesica and I am passionate about being a part of the miracle of birth. I graduated as a registered nurse in general, community, psychiatry, and midwifery nursing in 2007 in South Africa. Worked at low and high-risk clinics and hospitals in the Cape and my love for midwifery only continued to grow, leading me to pursue a Masters degree in Advanced Midwifery and Neonatology enhancing my ability to care for new families and their babies.

I had three amazing home births myself which help me to realised this was an option I wanted to be able to provide to other women.

I am a Midwife Specialist registered with the South African Nursing Council and a Private Health Practitioner registered with the Board of Health Funders.
